Doing more work inside Cursor: remarkable efficiency gains

I’m doing more and more of my day-to-day work inside Cursor — and the efficiency gains are remarkable.

What’s surprised me most is how much easier it is to juggle a broader set of engagements without feeling stretched. Normally, context switching chews through my energy, but when the environment helps you stay organised and slip between tasks cleanly, the whole rhythm of the day shifts.

I use Cursor for early-stage thinking, design work, shaping detailed documents, and of course for prototyping and coding. The more I run through it, the smoother everything becomes.

There’s only one feature that still hasn’t landed for me: voice. Cursor’s new voice dictation in v2 is miles behind what ChatGPT offers — an odd gap for such a strong product.

So for now, I dictate in ChatGPT and drop the text into Cursor. It’s a minor workaround, and the overall workflow is still the best I’ve used.
